"BLOSSOM" Embroidered Leather Sandals

HARUTAとのコラボレーション第3弾となるレザーサンダル
「BLOSSOM」は、HARUTAのポストマンシューズ "IVY" のラストをベースに作られた、KYOUオリジナルの型 TG852。

 

HARUTA社とシーズンを重ねながら協業し、オリジナルの型を開発した。

アッパーには、南カリフォルニアに咲く花をモチーフにした大胆な刺繍を施している。

 

ベースとなる型からヒールポイントをなくし、ソールとの密着性を高めるために踵止まりを追加。

 

レザーにはガラス仕上げの牛革を使用。通常は最終工程でブラシ磨きを施すが、あえてその処理を省き、光沢を抑えた仕上がりに。

 

履くほどに革が馴染むのはもちろん、ライニングとインソールには肌触りの良い豚革を使用し、吸汗性に優れ蒸れにくい仕様となっている。

 

通常の HARUTA に比べ、ジャストサイズでの着用を推奨。

<En>Leather sandals, the third collaboration with HARUTA. "BLOSSOM" is KYOU's original mold TG852, made based on the last of HARUTA's postman shoes "IVY". The original mold was developed through season-long collaboration with HARUTA.The upper is decorated with bold embroidery featuring flowers blooming in Southern California.The heel point was eliminated from the base mold, and a heel stop was added to improve adhesion with the sole.Glass-finished cowhide leather is used for the leather. Normally, a brush polish is applied in the final process, but this treatment was purposely omitted, resulting in a finish with a low luster.In addition to the leather becoming more comfortable as the wearer wears them, the lining and insole are made of comfortable pigskin leather, which absorbs perspiration and prevents steamy conditions.Compared to the regular HARUTA, a true-to-size fit is recommended.This is a special pair that adds KYOU's perspective to HARUTA's manufacturing.
