"ROEBUCK" Type-50s Jacket by 66 Selvedge Denim
今シーズンよりデニムラインのデザインを一 新。
50'sのBIG MACをベースに作成した新型 "ROEBUCK" は、デザイナー私物のキッズヴィンテージウェアを展開し、パターンを作成。
本来のヴィンテージにはないディテールの配置や、ややアンバランスなポケットのサイズ、シンチバックを加えたKYOUのシグネチャージャケットは、継続して展開していく予定。
今シーズンより生地も変更。
リーバイス66前期の製品を紐解き、細部まで研究し、リプロダクトされたセルヴィッチデニムを使用。
異なる数種のムラ形状の糸を使い、66前期の特徴であるタテの色落ちがシャープなムラ感を再現する14ozデニムに仕上げた。今まで使用していた 80’s Reproduced Denim よりも深い色落ちで、表面のざらつきが抑えられ、しっとりとした質感が特徴。
リベットの使用を減らすため、丸カンを入れることで、よりヴィンテージライクな仕上がりとなった。

The denim line has been redesigned this season.
The new “ROEBUCK” model, created based on the 50's BIG MAC, was developed from the designer's personal vintage kids' wear and patterned.
KYOU's signature jacket will continue to be developed with the placement of details not found in the original vintage garments, slightly unbalanced pocket sizes, and cinch backs.
The fabric has also been changed this season.
The fabric is a reproduced selvage denim, which was created by unraveling and studying the details of Levi's 66 early period products.
Using several different types of threads with different irregularities, we have created a 14oz denim that reproduces the sharp irregularity of the warp fading characteristic of the first half of the 66.The color fades deeper than the 80's Reproduced Denim used until now, and the surface roughness is suppressed, resulting in a moist texture.
To reduce the use of rivets, round cans were inserted for a more vintage-like finish.
