"TEE-NS" with GARFIELD My Friends Tee

あるタイミングで収集を始めたヴィンテージのガーフィールドのドールフィギュア。
アメリカ文化の1つと言っても過言ではない、コミック・ストリップ（新聞紙掲載のコマ漫画）で知られるGarfieldとエクスクルーシブプロダクトを発表する。

 

 

デザイナーが愛するGarfield。
怠惰でシニカル、だけれどもどこか胸に刺さる言葉と併せて、Garfieldと親友Odieが織りなす世界を表現します。

 

 

"My Friends Tee" は、デザイナーが興味を持つきっかけとなった私物のガーフィールド人形コレクションをiPhoneで撮影したフォトに、ちょっぴり深みのある言葉 “TO KNOW ME IS TO LOVE ME” を添えたGarfieldにフォーカスしたTシャツ。

 

 

ボディは32/1の細番手の糸で編まれた天竺を使用し、経年劣化したような色褪せたヴィンテージの風合いを加工で表現した。

 

袖と裾は天地縫い（シングルステッチ）で仕上げつつも、袖には表振り3本針ステッチワークを施し、古着でありそうでない、ユニークなヴィンテージTシャツを表現。

I started collecting vintage Garfield doll figures at a certain point in my life.
The designer will present an exclusive product with Garfield, who is known for his comic strips, a part of American culture.

 

 

The designer loves Garfield.
The designers will express the world of Garfield and his best friend Odie, with words that are lazy, cynical, and yet somehow piercing.

 

 

The “My Friends Tee” features an iPhone photo of the designer's personal collection of Garfield dolls, which sparked his interest, along with the slightly profound phrase “TO KNOW ME IS TO LOVE ME. This T-shirt focuses on Garfield.

 

 

The body is made of jersey woven with 32/1 fine count yarn and processed to give a faded vintage look.

 

While the sleeves and hem are finished with a single topstitch, the sleeves are finished with front-swing 3-needle stitchwork, expressing a unique vintage T-shirt that does not look like vintage clothing.
