"SKOOL" Type.2 Embroidered Coin Loafers by HARUTA

【KYOU'S MERCHANDISE GOODS】 ラインに迎えたエクスクルーシブアイテム第2弾は、スクールローファーで知られ、創業100年を迎える HARUTA 社との協業を継続。

 

今シーズンは、ベースに 707XL を採用し、オペラシューズにクラシックソールを組み合わせた。質実剛健な HARUTA の靴作りは今も変わらず、国内の職人が手掛けている。

 

今シーズンは、メイン州に群生する植物をモチーフに、アッパー全面を刺繍で表現。

レザーにはガラス仕上げの牛革を使用。通常は最終工程でブラシ磨きを施すが、あえてその処理を省き、光沢を抑えた仕上がりに。

 

履くほどに革が馴染むのはもちろん、ライニングとインソールには肌触りの良い豚革を使用し、吸汗性に優れ蒸れにくい仕様となっている。

 

HARUTA 社のものづくりに KYOU のフィルターを通し、加えられた刺繍がアクセントとなった特別なプロダクト。

KYOU'S MERCHANDISE GOODS] The second exclusive item welcomed to the line continues the collaboration with HARUTA, a company known for its school loafers and celebrating 100 years in business.

This season, the 707XL is used as the base, combining an opera shoe with a classic sole. HARUTA's quality and sturdiness in shoemaking remains unchanged, and the shoes are made by craftsmen in Japan.

This season, the entire upper is embroidered with a motif of plants that grow in clusters in Maine.

Glass-finished cowhide leather is used for the leather. Normally, a brush polish is applied in the final process, but this treatment was purposely omitted, resulting in a finish with a low luster.

In addition to the leather becoming more comfortable as the wearer wears them, the lining and insole are made of comfortable pigskin leather, which absorbs perspiration and prevents steamy conditions.

The embroidery added through KYOU's filter to HARUTA's manufacturing process adds an accent to this special product.
